The St. Francis Dam National Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization with the goal of raising funds for the United States Forest Service to support the building and maintenance of the 353 acre St. Francis Dam Disaster National Memorial and National Monument. They do so in order to honor the memory of the hundreds of victims of the second largest disaster in California history.
To preserve and advance the history of the St. Francis Dam disaster and honor the victims.
The vision of the St. Francis Dam National Memorial Foundation is to create a National Memorial at the site of the St. Francis Dam disaster which properly honors its many victims. We will also build a visitor’s center, and provide a great educational experience about the disaster to visitors from all over the world.
