These beautiful hand hammered copper candle holders were identified as antiques that most probably were fashioned in India. They have wavy top edges, a curvy base, and the center portion of the candlesticks is twisted in a very interesting fashion. The top, center, and base pieces were soldered together with brass. The top and base are hand hammered. They have been kept bright and shiny with “Bar Tender’s Friend” polish. If they are not polished, they will build up a beautiful patina over time. In the middle of the top where the candles sit, there is a bit of wax residue and a bit of green buildup from the copper. There’s also a bit of patina in this area as well. It doesn’t show with the candles in place. It was estimated that these may have come from the 1920-40s.
