This dagger was purchased in mainland China in Cheng Du in 2013 by a mountain climber following a summit of Mount Everest. The material on the handle and scabbard is a modern day bakelite. The scabbard, handle and hilt are decorated with metal. The top of the handle sports a crown. The base of the handle has two fu dogs. The scabbard base has an ancient Chinese God of the wind and a monkey. The top of the scabbard has whirls of wind to match the wind God below. The blade has swirls of fire and wind design. There are three loops on the scabbard to secure to your belt.
